WineFolio Privacy Policy

1. Overview

WineFolio is designed as a local-first personal wine journal for iPhone. The current public version focuses on saving and organizing wine information directly on your device.

2. Information you create in the app

WineFolio may store information you choose to add, such as:

• wine names
• producers
• vintages
• regions
• grape varieties
• wine types
• tasting notes
• ratings
• aroma and structure information
• cellar entries
• wishlist entries
• label photos or related images, if added by you
• prices or personal notes, if entered by you

3. Local-first storage

In the current public version, the core app experience stores wine journal data locally on your device. The app does not require an account for the core experience.

4. No account required for the current public version

WineFolio does not require login or registration for the current public release. If account-based features are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated.

5. No advertising tracking

WineFolio is not built around advertising tracking, behavioral advertising, or selling user data.

6. Analytics and diagnostics

The current public release is designed without in-app advertising tracking or a public cloud sync requirement. If Apple provides crash reports or diagnostic information through App Store or TestFlight tools, that information may be used to improve stability, subject to Apple's systems and your device settings.

7. Support emails

If you contact support by email, the information you provide is used to respond to your request. This may include your email address, message content, screenshots, device details, or other information you choose to include.

8. iCloud and device backups

WineFolio data may be included in normal iOS device backups or iCloud backups depending on your device settings and Apple's backup behavior. WineFolio does not control your iCloud account or Apple backup settings.

9. Future optional cloud features

Future versions may introduce optional cloud sync, accounts, or richer catalog features. These are not described as active in the current public release. If introduced, they should be explained clearly and this privacy policy should be updated before or alongside release.

10. Data sharing

WineFolio does not sell personal data. WineFolio does not share your wine journal for advertising purposes. Support emails are handled only to respond to support requests.

11. User control and deletion

You can delete app entries where deletion is available. You can remove the app from your device to delete local app data, subject to iOS and backup behavior. If you contacted support by email and want a support message deleted, you can request this by email.

12. Children's privacy

WineFolio is not directed to children. WineFolio does not knowingly collect information from children.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. This page will show the latest update date.
